Terms & Conditions

1. Acceptance

By downloading, accessing, or using BioSnap (the "Service"), you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Eligibility & Accounts

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age in your jurisdiction). You are responsible for activity on your account and for keeping your credentials secure.

3. Gameplay & Content

BioSnap lets you photograph animals, receive AI ratings, build collections, open chests, shop with in-game currency, and battle friends or AI. You retain ownership of photos you upload, and you grant us a worldwide, royalty-free license to host, process, and display them solely to operate and improve the Service.

4. In-Game Currency & Purchases

  • In-game currency, chests, items, and cosmetics have no real-world monetary value and cannot be redeemed for cash.
  • All purchases are final and non-refundable except where required by law or the platform store policy (Apple, Google).
  • We may modify, balance, or remove in-game items at any time.

5. Fair Play

You agree not to cheat, exploit bugs, use bots, submit fake or AI-generated photos as real animal captures, or harass other players in battles or chat. Violations may result in suspension or permanent ban without refund.

6. User Conduct

You will not upload illegal, harmful, or infringing content; harm or harass wildlife to capture photos; or use the Service to violate any law.

7. Intellectual Property

BioSnap, its logo, mascot, art, code, and creature designs are owned by us and protected by intellectual property laws.

8. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access at any time for breach of these Terms. You may stop using the Service at any time.

9. Wildlife Safety & Assumption of Risk

Do not approach dangerous animals. You must never approach, pursue, corner, provoke, or attempt to touch, feed, or interact with any wild animal—especially animals that are known to be dangerous, venomous, aggressive, or capable of causing bodily harm. This includes, but is not limited to, large predators, venomous snakes and insects, bears, wolves, big cats, wild boar, elephants, bison, marine predators, and any animal exhibiting defensive or aggressive behavior.

Safe distance is mandatory. Always maintain a safe, respectful distance from all wildlife. Use zoom lenses or telephoto features on your device. Never put yourself, others, or animals at risk for the purpose of using the Service.

No condoning of dangerous behavior. We do not encourage, condone, or authorize any conduct that involves approaching, harassing, or endangering wildlife or human safety. Any content glorifying or depicting dangerous animal encounters may be removed and the associated account suspended or terminated.

Assumption of risk & release of liability. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, you expressly assume all risks associated with your interaction with animals, wildlife, and the outdoors while using the Service. You hereby release, waive, discharge, and covenant not to sue BioSnap, its parent company SASM Technologies, its owners, officers, directors, employees, agents, affiliates, licensors, and successors from any and all liability, claims, demands, actions, or causes of action whatsoever, directly or indirectly arising out of or related to any loss, damage, injury (including death), or harm to you, your property, or any third party, whether caused by wildlife, environmental conditions, your own actions, or the actions of others. This release applies regardless of whether the claim is based in contract, tort, strict liability, negligence, or any other legal theory, and regardless of whether we were advised of the possibility of such damages.

10. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. Animal identification is AI-assisted and may be inaccurate or incomplete; do not rely on it for safety, medical, scientific, conservation, or legal decisions. Always observe wildlife safely, lawfully, and in accordance with all local regulations and park rules.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall BioSnap, SASM Technologies, or any of their respective officers, directors, employees, agents, affiliates, licensors, or successors be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive, or exemplary damages, including but not limited to damages for personal injury, pain and suffering, emotional distress, loss of income, loss of profits, loss of data, or any other intangible losses, arising out of or in connection with your use of or inability to use the Service, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. In jurisdictions that do not allow the exclusion or limitation of liability for consequential or incidental damages, our liability shall be limited to the fullest extent permitted by law.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless BioSnap and SASM Technologies, and their respective officers, directors, employees, agents, affiliates, licensors, and successors from and against any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, expenses, or fees (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or relating to your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your interaction with any animal or wildlife.

13. Changes

We may update these Terms at any time. Material changes will be announced in-app or by other reasonable means. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
